You can pay online for your reservation either by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), or with your credit or debit card through our partner Exchange4Free.
Exchange4Free gives you a great exchange rate and there are no international bank charges. Payments made with a credit card through Exchange4Free are subject to a 2.5% surcharge.
Please be advised: Credit Card Payments from certain Countries usually require pre-authorisation from your Bank, so please contact them before you make your deposit/payment to avoid any inconvenience and to save yourself time.

General:
As per our Terms and Conditions we require a deposit of 30% of the invoice amount, to be paid a week after booking is made. With this deposit you confirm your booking with us. Until we have received this payment, or proof that you have made the payment, your booking with us remains provisional. An acceptable proof of payment would be a ‘print screen’ of the confirmation page of your internet banking, a bank statement or a letter from your bank manager confirming that the transaction has been made. You can email your proof of payment to [email protected].
Once we have received your deposit, we will email you the same invoice again, under “Deposit Paid” the amount that we have received in our bank account. With this, your booking with us is confirmed and this amended invoice acts as your booking confirmation. The remaining 70% is due 6 weeks before the starting date of your tour.
How to pay us:
You are required to pay us in South African Rands into our South African bank account. Please ensure that you mention your name and “Invoice number” in the reference, so we can allocate your payment properly.
Please note that all bank charges are for your account, so please ensure that when making the payment to check all applicable boxes on your internet banking. Depending on your bank, these usually amount to about 20-30 USD/15-20 GBP/17-23 EUR. Should we be charged bank charges upon receiving your deposit, we will have to invoice you for the difference.
To avoid double bank-charges, you may decide to deposit the full 100% of the invoiced amount in one transaction. This is allowed, but certainly not required.
Note: As a South African company we require to be paid in South African Rands, and also the price mentioned in our quote and invoice to you is mentioned in this currency. We cannot be held liable for exchange rate fluctuations, not even in the period between booking and paying of the first deposit, and the actual conduction of the tour. It is possible that the exchange rate changes so that by the time of conducting the tour the quoted price differs significantly in USD/GBP/EUR than at the time of booking. This difference, whether it is now cheaper or more expensive, is for the travellers account. The traveller is free to pay any deposits earlier than required as per the deposit dates mentioned on this invoice, but not later. In doing so, it may be possible to make use of a ‘good’ exchange rate at the time, and pay before the 6 weeks before the starting date of the tour. Once again, although this is allowed, it is not required.
Booking Terms and Conditions:
By paying this invoice you agree with our general Travel and Booking Terms and Conditions:
It is compulsory for you to have an all-risk travel insurance/medical insurance for the full duration of your travels with us, which covers amongst others, medical aid, evacuation, theft and baggage loss. Without proof of comprehensive travel insurance we cannot transport you.
We charge the following cancellation fees, in addition to any reservation costs owed:
I have paid the deposit, now what?
After we have received the first 30% deposit, you will receive a confirmation of your booking, as well as our extensive ‘pre-departure pack’ full of information about the workshop and its location, and how you can best prepare yourself for your exciting workshop with us.
After we have received the remaining 70% six weeks before the starting date of the workshop, you will also get a confirmation of this, and a ‘booking form’ which you fill in and return to us. On this form, you will be required to provide certain details so that in case of emergencies, we can help you immediately.
We charge the following cancellation fees, in addition to any reservation costs owed:
- in the case of cancellation up to the 90th calendar day (exclusive) before the day of departure: the deposit/registration fee;
- in the case of cancellation from the 89th calendar day (inclusive) until the 60th day of departure: 50% of the travel sum;
- in the case of cancellation from the 59th calendar day (inclusive) until the 14 days prior to departure: 90% of the travel sum
- in the case of cancellation 13 days prior to departure or later: the full travel sum.
