The NiSi Filter Range
One of the photographic tools that landscape photographers in particular appreciate, are good filters! From stretching exposures into the minutes, to balancing the tonal values of skies, to correcting the colour caste in the night sky, and polarising light to reduce reflections and improve colour saturation, it is a genre of photography where the importance of the glass in front of the lens cannot be emphasised enough.
Nature’s Light have partnered with the South African importers of the highly acclaimed NiSi Filters to offer reduced prices on all NiSi filters and accessories when bought through Nature’s Light. All NiSi equipment available on the LandscapeGear homepage is available for order through Nature’s Light. Simply email us with the products you would like and we will get back to you with a discounted invoice on the filters.
Emil is a South African NiSi Filters Ambassador, and will run free of charge NiSi demo workshops from time to time. Photographers are also welcome to book a slot to come and view the stock that we keep in studio in Durban.
The NiSi 100mm filter range is for DSLR and mirrorless camera systems with lenses that have a thread size between 49mm and 82mm. Ultra-wide DSLR lenses with a bulbous front element like the Nikon 14-24mm and Tamron 15-30mm require the 150mm system.
NiSi's new close up lens kit is a fun, compact and affordable introduction to the world of macro photography. It greatly reduces the minimum focusing distance of telephoto lenses (70-300mm range) to offer a magnification that is close to 1:1 (depending on the lens used).
NiSi Filter Kits for DJI Drones enable the operator to capture more refined and natural videos while expanding creative opportunities. The ND filters lengthen the shutter speed by reducing the amount of light entering the camera and gives a more natural sense of motion when filming.
